Bower Green Turns 60

IN THE BEGINNING

On the 8th July 2013 Bower Green Ltd has been in the warehousing and transport industry for 60 years.
Bower Green Warehousing Ltd was established as a warehousing company serving the wool and textile community and we are still a family concern.

Donald Pattison the Founder began sorting wool on commission and warehousing, was later joined by his sons Ian (Chairman) and Michael who developed the warehousing, shipping, forwarding and transport aspects of the company.

Roger, Alan (MD) and Jodie, the founder’s grandchildren and the third generation of the Pattisons now all work in the business managing various departments.

PRESENT DAY

We are members of the British International Freight Association (BIFA), Road Haulage Association (RHA) and the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA).

We now offer services worldwide with the co-operation of 230 Agents situated in 80 countries worldwide.
Whilst the horse and cart have long gone we now have a fleet of 14 vehicles and trailers covering both local and national transport together with a parcel and courier service.

Clearances facilities at all the main UK ports and over 250,000 sq ft of warehousing for free circulation or customs bonded goods.

So why not put your freight/transport/warehousing in the hands of a Company that has grown and stood the test of time through its reliability and excellent customer service.

May we take this opportunity of thanking all our customers, suppliers and agents who have given their continued support without which we would not have reached this memorable anniversary.
